Find your city vibe and discover a whole new world of possibilities. The vibrant energy that flows through the urban neighborhood is highly contagious. Brisk, and fast paced walks are met with picturesque scenery while captivating and trendy fashion collides. The upbeat bustle of the main streets can take a turn for quiet and quaint lanes, housing boutique coffee shops and a homely aroma. Your city holds the key to unlocking your personal style and the Seventh Ave Shawl exudes just that. Named after NYC’s one and only Fashion Avenue, this eye-catching asymmetrical accessory feature bold stripes, and is a true fashion statement worthy of your wardrobe.

The Seventh Ave Shawl is considered beginner friendly and uses two basic stitches throughout the design. It’s crocheted in one flat piece with increases occurring on a single edge, making it a mindless project perfect for gift giving. Choose from four different colors for versatility and enjoy the endless combinations you can muster up.

The original shawl uses Lion Brand x Two of Wands Color Theory in Moonbeam, Bee Pollen, Nutmeg, and Canyon. This color combination is more seasonally centered and fitting for autumnal festivities. The Color Theory yarn line has a beautiful palette with easy mix and match shades that will keep you busy in the selection process. The second shawl is underway with a lineup of Ivory and Pink Himalayan, being finished off with Dijon, and Bone for an eclectic vibe.

For this design, you’ll need:

  • (4) skeins of different colors of Color Theory yarn, or at least 246 yds of worsted weight yarn in (4) colors. This project is awesome for stash busting!

  • 7.00 mm hook, or hook to match gauge. While gauge is not crucial for this design, your finished shawl can/will differ in size.

  • Measuring tape (optional)

  • Scissors

  • Yarn Needle
