Hey you! Yes, you! Are you the one that waits until the very last minute to get their life together when it comes to getting ready for the holidays? Yea….? Me too!
Doesn’t it seem like each year we repeatedly make the ultimate promise to ourselves to do better the following year...only to fall behind once again. Then we run frantically to the yarn shop to find the bulkiest of yarns to create “quick” projects for the ENTIRE family!? Don’t get me wrong, I love bulky yarns and projects. But the stress that last minute shenanigans entails is a killer!
A little over a year ago, I made a huge decision that changed my entire life. Everything I’ve ever known, I left behind. In search of finding something new, something refreshing, somewhere to start again, I moved further south about 400 miles from my hometown.
The first #wip I completed in my new setting was this yellow top with blossom like stitches. At first I didn’t take note on the color, but afterwards I realized that the color yellow symbolizes so many things. Freshness...positivity...optimism...and most importantly happiness. When you find yourself in unusual and unfamiliar spaces, you ultimately hope for and aspire to be all those things.
Today I have the pleasure of introducing you to the Basic Spring Tee! This top was designed to make life easy whether you are making it and/or wearing it! I love simple garments with a pop of “something” on the side. In this case, the Basic Spring Tee sports a boat neck and puffy sleeves which adds a sweet and fashionable character to it.

The Winterberry Sweater gives you the best of all four worlds! I had a blast designing this sweater, which may or may not be the last in her collection (See Winterberry Slouch Crochet Pattern and Winterberry Infinity Crochet Pattern). Working with the honeycomb stitch and designing from the top-down, I can honestly say it was a task figuring out the numbers and increases. But once it hit me….it HIT me!
Hey Loves! This is Talia, designer and creator of Talia’s Crochet Creations. Yes, it’s just me behind the scenes. I began my adventure in crochet a few years ago after being fascinated with what an idea, a ball of yarn, and a hook could do. I never dreamed that I would be making my own clothing, yet alone for other people. What once was a hobby for me became my passion. It brings me pure joy to be able to express my creativity in the form of fashion. My goal is to inspire others through my work and to spread handmade to every wardrobe.
The idea behind Talia’s Crochet Creations is to bring originality, style, and inspiration to your wardrobe with handmade clothing & accessories.
Our promise & guarantee to you is to provide 100% quality handmade products.
